Manchester United have made a huge bid for reported AC Milan and Inter target Federico Chiesa, according to a report.
The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for Chiesa by a number of different outlets over the last few days, as the 22-year-old is a player that Stefano Pioli knows well from his time in charge of Fiorentina.
However, competition is expected to be fierce, and La Nazione (via SportWitness) are reporting how Chiesa’s future remains to be defined. Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso will sell if the right offer arrives and there are plenty of clubs circling.
Inter and Juventus remain interested, but Fiorentina want to sell abroad if at all possible, with Manchester United having already put a bid of €55m on the table.
Fiorentina are expecting a bigger bid to arrive in the next few weeks, but with United it has to be assumed that Jadon Sancho’s arrival would likely put them out of the running.
