Nkunku coy on future amid PSG and Milan interest: “I’ll have to think carefully”

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been linked with a move for RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku in recent weeks and he admitted that he could leave this summer.

The attacking midfielder had an amazing season with the Bundesliga side, amassing 35 goals and 20 assists in 51 appearances for them, and TMW reported last week that he is the big name that the new Rossoneri ownership could try to sign to reinforce the attacking department and announce themselves.

MilanNews writes that the attacking midfielder is wanted by ‘half of Europe’ including Milan who are ‘keeping their eyes open’ for a potential opportunity to striker. They relay comments from the player who spoke to Telefoot about his future, and didn’t give much away.

“I’ll have to think carefully and make a decision. There is a World Cup just around the corner and this is a parameter that I must take into consideration,” he said.

One of the clubs that have been repeatedly linked is Paris Saint-Germain where he played when he was younger. On the possibility of a return to the French capital, Nkunku replied: “As I said, I will simply have to think carefully.”

    1. Yeah but did you read what he said? He wants to play in the World Cup, not warm the bench for Messi, Neymar and Mbappe. I doubt Neymar will go anywhere.

  1. Nkunku, Sanches, Botman and De Ketelaere would be the perfect dream signing. With that addition, retain the league title is very feasible target for us. Let’s get that 2 stars next season and then challenge for UCL in 2023/24 hahaha.

  2. Agree with Forza Milan. If that dreams true…Milan will be like 90’s era, unbeatable everywhere, local, europe and the world. The question is…can we get all of that player..? Lets hope and pray…
Anything can happen in this world..
