Norwegian report claims Celtic are expected to sell €25m star with Milan and Spurs keen

Celtic are likely to sell defender Kristoffer Ajer during the summer transfer window, according to reports from Norway.

It was recently reported by Calciomercato.com that Ajer is Milan’s number one choice to reinforce the defence this summer as they look to find a consistent partner for captain Alessio Romagnoli.

The report claims that there are currently two obstacles Milan most overcome, with the first being the €25million valuation, while the second is that Premier League side Leicester are keen. The Foxes are coached by ex-Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers.

According to the latest from Norwegian outlet Sporten, Celtic are likely to sell their prized young defender in the upcoming transfer window.

The report claimed that Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is keen on a move, but the Scottish side are likely to demand a big fee for the centre-back.

The report mentions how Spurs are looking to bring in a replacement for the out-of-contract Jan Vertonghen this summer.
