Rafael Leao is as beautiful to watch as he is frustrating. The AC Milan star clearly has bags of ability, but he can also be so annoying to watch. Against Inter, though, this was not the case.
When he is at his best, there are few players as exciting to watch as Leao, and that is in Italy and Europe. The Portuguese has been blessed with immense talent, and when it shines, the winger is the best on the field.

However, when it doesn’t shine, frustrations are shown quickly; largely a double-edged sword in that regard.
Against Inter, as Milan News write, he returned as a starter, and made his mark, even if he couldn’t find the back of the net. Perhaps, this is the Leao that is needed more, though, as he provided a threat, allowing others to go under the radar.
At the game’s opening, it was clear that he was ready to torment, and he had great fun against Matteo Darmian. For this reason, his teammates quickly looked to him, and this shows in the stats, with Leao having three shots (one on target), two key passes, and two fouls drawn, whilst also being the most passed to player in the game, according to the report.
So, it is still difficult to do without him, which was proved when he left the pitch. On average, his performances may not be as consistent as Reijnders and Pulisic, but there is nobody that can have the same impact.
The guy is world-class – he’s not getting any younger, but I still think that, under the right manager, he could be one of the top 2 or 3 attacking players on the planet.
Well i think he is very limited player for modern football standards. He can only play one position(LW), and he didn’t add anything to his game for years. I would like to see him dominate as a world class, but he is too focused on making music and writing books instead of evolving as a player. When i was a kid and a younger man playing football, i spent countless hours just trying and practicing new things outside of training on my own. These idiots make instagram stories in their spare time.
I love Rafa to bits but he’s definitely not world class (he has the ability to get there though).
Vinicius Junior, Salah, Mbappe, Haaland just to mention a few are world class. Leao isn’t.
All the above-mentioned players have one thing in common; Consistency!
Which he has clearly lacked all his years (Scudetto season included) with us.
He’s frustrating to watch when he has to make the final decision. He usually gets it wrong. He’s great to watch when he’s running and beating defenders.
He got speed on his side. He is good and fast not near world class. He has talent. He got to do better to be on the top. His shooting is poor and he dosnt move to much on the pitch.
He has the skill set of a world class player, but he lacks the attitude and mindset of a world class player.
He is definitely near world class, if he adds that attitude and consistency in his delivery, I think he will be second only to Vini Jr in the world. I think in terms of skills, he is better than Raphinia and other LW out there.
