Numerous reliable sources confirm Chelsea academy graduate has joined Milan for €28.5m

Numerous reports are claiming that AC Milan will trigger the buy-out option on Fikayo Tomori and sign him from Chelsea permanently.

There is no doubting that centre-back Fikayo Tomori has made a tremendous impact since arriving at AC Milan on loan with an option to buy from Chelsea. It is no surprise therefore that reliable sources have reported for weeks that Milan are going to use their opportunity Tomori outright for €28.5m.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tomori will join Milan on a permanent deal, confirmed. It will see €28.5m go to Chelsea as a final fee with the option to buy clause having been triggered by the Rossoneri management after an excellent season.

This has been confirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia, who writes that Tomori is now an official outright player for Milan, as well as MilanNews journalist Pietro Mazzara who is reporting that Tomori is ‘here to stay’.
