Official: AC Milan and Inter fined by UEFA for behaviour of fans during Euroderby

AC Milan and Inter have both received fines for incidents related to what happened in the Champions League semi-final derby matches.

According to Calciomercato.com, the two Milanese clubs have been fined by UEFA’s control, ethics and discipline body, which met today to discuss sanctions related to the final phase of the last Champions League.

The behaviour of the fans of the Rossoneri and Nerazzurri clubs in the two Euroderby semi-finals has been punished and it is the blue half of the city who will pay out more in fines, albeit offsetting it by making it to the final.

For the first leg, which was played with Milan as the home team, the Rossoneri were fined €20k for obstructing the passageways, plus another €8,750 for lighting pyrotechnic material.

Inter were fined €22k for obstructing passageways for second leg fixture, to which must be added the €3,750 for lighting pyrotechnic material in the first leg, €5,000 for the pitch invasion by players and €10,500m for lighting pyrotechnic material in the match on 16 May.

The total fine is €28,750 for Milan and €41,250 for Inter.

  1. Hopefully this doesn’t take funds away from the summer transfer window or do they deduct from our UCL winnings?

    1. its a pretty small fine to be honest considering the clubs wealth, yup wealth 😀 think it will be withheld from cl winnings but not 100% sure but either way it will hardly be noticed.

  2. ★ 10 500 miliónů Eur.. ★

Nemyslím si, že si toho pokladna Interu nevšimne.. Celkem dráha pyrotechnika. 😉
