AC Milan have officially completed the signing of Alejandro Jimenez on an initial loan deal from Real Madrid, it has been confirmed.
It first emerged last week that Milan were set to complete the signing of the 18-year-old right-back on a loan deal which will include an option to buy that can be activated next summer.
The player arrived for his medical last week but no official announcement came, though on the official Serie A website it shows that his contract has been deposited and thus he is a new Milan player.
Jimenez renewed his Real Madrid contract back in May 2022 until 2025 and he was tipped to eventually step into the first team fold there, even training under Carlo Ancelotti’s watch and demonstrating his speed.
However, he has had some injuries that have kept him out and he has also not always seen eye to eye with his coaches. Sporting director Antonio D’Ottavio is believed to have played a big part in the arrival of Jimenez.
