AC Milan have confirmed that young goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari has committed his future to the club with a new deal.
The new deal was announced by Milan in a statement on Tuesday evening, which confirmed that the 19-year-old has penned a fresh contract until 2023.
Plizzari has not yet made his competitive debut for the club and spent last season on loan at Ternana in Serie B where he struggled.
However, he is still considered a bright talent for the future, having helped Italy to both third place at the U20 World Cup in 2017 and a second place at last year’s U19 European Championships.
A statement on the club’s official website reads: “AC Milan has reached an agreement with goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari, born 12 March 2000, to extend his contract with the club until 30 June 2023.”
