AC Milan will take part in a friendly game against Lumezzane a day before the squad depart for the tour of the United States, it has been confirmed.
As confirmed on their official Twitter account, the first summer friendly match for Stefano Pioli’s side will take place on Thursday 20 July at 17:00 CEST as they take on Lumezzane, a team newly promoted to Serie C.
The game will take place at Milanello and is one day before the squad are due to jet off to the USA for the friendlies that are to come against Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona.
There was heavy rain at the Milanello this morning where the Rossoneri met for breakfast before heading to the locker room for today’s training session.
They began in the gym for some muscle conditioning and some strength exercises before heading out onto the central pitch. Tomorrow the team will increase their loads with a double session, with Christian Pulisic expected to have his first day with the squad.
