Kosovare Asllani’s Sweden fell to Spain in the semifinal of the Women’s World Cup. Despite a valiant effort, the Blågult eventually fell to the Spaniards by a score of 2-1.

Afterward, Asllani expressed her disappointment over the loss and declared that she was ‘tired of crying big tournament tears’.

The Swedish Skipper will have the chance to salvage something from this tournament, however, as Sweden will play against Australia for third place on Saturday. The Swedes will take on the host nation in Brisbane on August 19th and kickoff time will be at 10 a.m. CEST.

And with some luck, Asllani won’t leave the tournament empty handed and will return to Milan with a medal.
