AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has made multiple changes to the starting line-up that will face Chelsea compared to the team that beat Empoli amid an injury crisis.
Another wave of injuries has hit Milan as Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi, Simon Kjaer and Theo Hernandez are all out, plus Alexis Saelemaekers, Junior Messias and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Some changes and choices have therefore been forced, with Pioli electing to field Ciprian Tatarusanu in goal with a back four of Sergino Dest, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Fode Ballo-Toure ahead.
Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer will be in the double pivot, with the attack consisting of Rade Krunic wide on the right, Rafael Leao on the left and Charles De Ketelaere as the playmaker behind Olivier Giroud.

Most of our players are sloppy in this match, trust me… if we play the right way in the second half with a good attacking intensity, we can score goals.. Chelsea’s defence is easily penetrative the way they’re playing
Me personally I’d sub on Diaz and Rebic for Krunic and Giroud, we need rebic’s modern st presence and Diaz works well with rebic so to have him shouldn’t do much harm
Yes, Pioli can shift CDK to right wing and play Diaz as AMF.. Rebic and Diaz coming in can work..
Giroud is just horrible. I never understand what people see in him. He wins duels against short defenders, give him anyone his size and he is invisible. Rebic should have been already, or Origi
Giroud is excellent in the box, you just need to serve him right.. today our whole played bad.. a lot of misplaced passes killed the game for Milan
