AC Milan will face Cremonese away from home this evening and Stefano Pioli has announced his starting XI for the clash. He has decided to make five changes from the win against Spezia on Saturday.
Theo Hernandez and Olivier Giroud will miss out on tonight’s action due to suspension and that means Fode Ballo-Toure and Divock Origi are replacing the duo. The latter perhaps would have started anyway, in need of a goal to boost his confidence.
Sandro Tonali is back from start and will be looking to build on his great appearance off the bench against Spezia. Rafael Leao is getting some rest, with Ante Rebic starting on the left flank for this game.
The big surprise is that Malick Thiaw gets the chance from start, having come off the bench late in the game against Spezia. This also gives Pierre Kalulu some rest.
Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tătărușanu; Thiaw, Kjær, Tomori, Ballo-Touré; Bennacer, Tonali; Messias, Díaz, Rebić; Origi.
Bench: Jungdal, Mirante; Gabbia, Kalulu; Adli, Bakayoko, Krunić, Pobega, Vranckx; De Ketelaere, Lazetić, Leão.

Official Cremonese XI (3-4-2-1): Carnesecchi; Aiwu, Bianchetti, Vásquez; Ghiglione, Meïté, Escalante, Castagnetti, Valeri; Afena-Gyan, Ciofani.
Bench: Saro, Sarr; Hendry, Lochoshvili, Ndiaye, Quagliata, Sernicola; Acella, Báez, Milanese, Pickel; Buonaiuto, Okereke, Tsadjout, Zanimacchia.
Let’s see Thiaw’s performance on the right. Hope he does well
This game smells of another struggle. 1-1 for us or 2-1 with a late winner again (maybe Lazetic the hero?). Hang on to your hats.
Yesssss. Come on Thiaw let’s go. I’m sure he’s gonna impress..
I see this as a 3 at the back formation, no? Kjaer, Tomori and Thiaw CBs with Ballo and Messias as wing backs
Be good to see Thiaw – want to see Lazetic and CDK off the bench and a hat-full of goals
Pioli is trying out a new formation in this match 3 4 2 1. Let’s see how the match goes before I add any more comment.
Why make 5 changes to the starting 11..? I am blaming the coach for the end results we are already far behind from napoli yet making stupid changes? Put those players when we are leading atleast 2-0. This is turning out bad, Napoli are going further while we making 5 changes to the squad
