AC Milan have announced that Alessandro Florenzi underwent surgery in Finland to repair the injury he sustained in the recent draw with Sassuolo.
In a statement on the official website, Milan confirmed that suffered a severe injury to the biceps femoris of his left hamstring, which required surgery. The operation was conducted this morning by Professor Lasse Lempainen in Finland, with Milan club doctor Dr Stefano Mazzoni in attendance.
The surgery was successful and Florenzi will now return to Italy tomorrow to begin the rehabilitation process, with the statement adding that he is estimated to make a full recovery in five months.
There was immediate panic when Florenzi went down in severe pain in the closing stages of the game in Reggio Emilia, and Milan knew the injury was not a minor one as they decided to sign Sergino Dest on deadline day to provide cover on the right flank.
We have Dest, if he gets even close to his form from Ajax… Calabria is in trouble. Also Kalulu is a RB so I’m not worried.
Can it get any worse?
Yes, Dest, Calabria and Kalulu all get injured at the same time. Not probably but still possible. Anyway, you asked.
And then Abate has to come out of retirement to play only to get injured too… 😅
And perhaps after Abate they’d call Tassotti…? He seems to be in pretty good shape. 😀
😂 😂 😂 😂 Maybe even Cafu
LOL. Maaan, Cafu is still one of the TOP5-players ever on that right side. Unstoppable and impassable. A legend.
Dang. Feel sorry for Florenzi 😢
But at least RB have enough players with Calabria, Dest, Kalulu, and Alexis. Even Krunic can play as RB.
Krunic can play anywhere haha. Stick him in goal soon.
