OFFICIAL: Genoa complete loan signing of Bertolacci

AC Milan midfielder Andrea Bertolacci has officially made his return to Genoa, the club he left two years ago to move to the San Siro.

The Italian, however, failed to justify his €20million price-tag during his time with the Rossoneri and the two clubs have now announced that the player will make return to the Marassi on a dry one-year loan deal.

Reports from calciomercato.com claimed that Genoa were closing in on the signing of both Bertolacci and Lapadula with the latter who has already had his medical with the grifone and is also going to officially join Genoa in the coming hours.

Before competing his big money AC Milan move in 2015, Bertolacci had played 88 games with Genoa scoring 12 goals.

Genoa will pay an undisclosed fee for the player’s loan deal but the Grifone do not have any option to make the player’s loan move permanent, which means Bertolacci will make return to AC Milan at the end of the 2017/18 campaign.
