Official: Genoa vs. Milan starting XIs – four changes from draw against Parma

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has named four changes to his starting XI for tonight’s game compared to the line-up that drew with Parma.

With Ibrahimovic, Kjaer, Bennacer and Gabbia all injured, we already knew that Pierre Kalulu was set to start at centre-back, Sandro Tonali in midfield and Ante Rebic up front.

In goal will be Gianluigi Donnarumma, supported by a back four of Davide Calabria, Kalulu, Alessio Romagnoli and Diogo Dalot from right to left.

Tonali will start alongside the irreplaceable Franck Kessie in midfield, who will have to be very careful since he is one booking away from a suspension.

Ante Rebic will once again be the centre-forward and it seems as though Rafael Leao has won the battle for the left wing spot over Jens Petter Hauge. Hakan Calhanoglu and Samu Castillejo will complete the trident, as Saelemaekers has not yet fully recovered.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): G. Donnarumma, Calabria, Kalulu, Romagnoli, Dalot, Kessie, Tonali, Castillejo, Calhanoglu, Leao, Rebic.

Bench: A. Donnarumma, Tatarusanu, Conti, Duarte, Hernandez, Musacchio, Diaz, Hauge, Krunic, Saelemaekers, Colombo, Maldini.

Official Genoa XI (4-4-2): Perin; Masiello, Goldaniga, Bani, Pellegrini; Ghiglione, Shomurodov, Lerager, Sturaro; Destro, Pjaca.

Bench: Paleari, Zima, Criscito, Czyborra, Pellegrini, Badelj, Behrami, Caso, Melegoni, Radovanovic, Rovella, Zajc, Scamacca, Dumbravanu.
