AC Milan have today confirmed the exit of one of their highly rated youth players. Gianfilippo Felicioli has moved to Venezia FC.
The announcement came from AC Milan’s official website.
The twenty one year old has been at Milan since 2011, joining the youth program until 2016. He eventually made one official appearance for the club before being loaned out to Ascoli, Hellas Verona, and Perugia in the previous three seasons respectively.
The midfield player has capped for Italy at every youth level between U15 and U20, but never actually breaking into the senior squad.
Milan thank Felicioli for his time with the club and wish him the best in his next chapter.
Venezia finished in fifteenth place in last season’s Serie B. The club is looking to push towards a playoff position for next season and feel Felicioli may help push them to new heights.
