Official: Milan name 22-man squad for Fiorentina clash – why Bennacer and Castillejo are missing

AC Milan have named their official squad for the game against Fiorentina, with two notable absentees for the coaching staff to deal with.

Milan will be looking to move five points clear at the top of the Serie A table when they host Fiorentina at San Siro this afternoon.

Below is the list of 22 players called up for the game, with the most notable absentees being midfielder Ismael Bennacer and winger Samu Castillejo.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Bennacer and Castillejo will not take part in the match against Fiorentina but there is nothing to be worried about.

The former is suffering from fatigue and will rest as a precaution, while the Spaniard on the other hand is suffering from a slight inflammation in his left knee.

DEFENDERS: Calabria, Conti, Dalot, Duarte, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Kjær, Romagnoli.

MIDFIELDERS: Çalhanoğlu, Díaz, Hauge, Kessie, Krunić, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

FORWARDS: Colombo, Maldini, Rebić.
