Official: Pioli names 22-man squad for Genoa trip – Bennacer out but Tomori back

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has named his squad for tonight’s game against Genoa, and there is no Ismael Bennacer.

After two consecutive defeats in Serie A, Milan want to get back to winning ways by beating Genoa and getting one over on club legend Andriy Shevchenko, with kick-off set for 20:45 CET this evening.

Milan have lost two league games on the spin as they were beaten 4-3 away by Fiorentina before the 1-0 away win against Atletico Madrid last midweek, and were defeat 3-1 at San Siro by Sassuolo on Sunday. They have slipped three points behind Napoli as a result, and now have just a one-point gap to third-placed Inter.

Pioli has named a 22-man squad for the trip as confirmed by the official website, which also confirms that Olivier Giroud

Goalkeepers: Maignan, Mirante, Tătărușanu.

Defenders: Ballo-Touré, Conti, Florenzi, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Kjær, Tomori.

Midfielders: Bakayoko, Díaz, Kessie, Krunić, Messias, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

Forwards: Ibrahimović, Leão, Maldini, Pellegri.
