Official: Pioli names 23-man squad for Juventus – Musacchio out; three Primavera forwards in

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has officially named his 23-man squad ahead of Friday’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg.

Milan know they must score at least once against Juventus after the 1-1 draw at San Siro in the first leg (away goals being active), and they must do so without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Theo Hernandez and Samu Castillejo – all of whom are suspended.

There are also a number of statistics that work against the Rossoneri, such as the fact they are yet to win a game at the Allianz Stadium, and that they are without a victory in their last 10 games against the Bianconeri.

Stefano Pioli believes that the Rossoneri have every chance of upsetting the apple cart due to the unpredictable nature of the resumption of the season.

Below are the 23 players Pioli has called up for the game as per the club’s official website, with MilanNews reporting that Musacchio is out due to ankle inflammation.

In addition, Primavera forwards Daniel Maldini, Lorenzo Colombo and Giacomo Olzer have all been given a call-up.

GOALKEEPERS: Begović, A. Donnarumma, G. Donnarumma.

DEFENDERS: Calabria, Conti, Gabbia, Kjær, Laxalt, Romagnoli.

MIDFIELDERS: Bennacer, Biglia, Bonaventura, Brescianini, Çalhanoğlu, Kessie, Krunić, Paquetá, Saelemaekers.

FORWARDS: Colombo, Leão, Maldini, Olzer, Rebić.
