Official: Udinese vs. AC Milan starting XIs – Four changes as Bakayoko starts

In around an hour, AC Milan will face Udinese in the 17th round of Serie A. Stefano Pioli’s men are currently in first place and need a win to stay there, hoping to get through a period with many injuries.

A total of eight players will miss out on the action for the Rossoneri this evening, and many of them are key players. This says a lot about the circumstances Pioli is fighting, having decided to make four changes to the starting XI.

Alessandro Florenzi replaces Pierre Kalulu in the right-back position after what has been a positive last few weeks for the Italian. Further up the pitch, Tiemoue Bakayoko starts instead of Franck Kessie while Alexis Saelemaekers is also back. Ismael Bennacer also starts.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Florenzi, Tomori, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Bakayoko; Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Krunic; Ibrahimovic.

Bench: Mirante, Tătărușanu, Ballo-Touré, Gabbia, Kalulu, Castillejo, Kessie, Messias, Tonali, Maldini.

Official Udinese XI (3-4-2-1): Silvestri; Perez, Becao, Nuytinck; Molina, Arslan, Walace, Makengo, Soppy; Deulofeu, Beto.

Hopefully, the Rossoneri will claim all three points and keep their spot at the top of the standings. The Scudetto race is incredibly tight and every win will be crucial ahead of the Christmas break.
