Noah Okafor is now closing in on leaving AC Milan with Leeds United expected to complete the deal today, reports claim.

Given that the Swiss forward had performed well in preseason there was some speculation that Massimiliano Allegri might look to keep him as a deputy left winger, but it seems the club will not stand in his way.

Okafor to Leeds: Almost done

Fabrizio Romano‘s latest update is as follows: “Leeds United are closing in on Noah Okafor deal, agreement almost done with AC Milan. Final details to sort in next 12/24h with here we go to follow if all goes to plan.”

Gianluca Di Marzio also reports that Okafor will soon become a new Leeds player. Everything is done for the forward’s move to the Premier League and Milan will receive €21m, including bonuses, from his sale.

The player will be in England in the next few hours for a medical and to sign his contract. After the Yorkshire side won their opening game against Everton on Monday night, it is a further boost in their bid for survival.

    1. He is valued at club for around 8,5 million. So every fix price above around 9 is capital gain.
If they sell him in fixed 19, capital gain is 10 million. Profit in balance sheet.
Now, Okafor costs with wage and ammortisation around 5,5 million, so costs side of balance sheet will decrease for those 5 million plus.

  1. Chukwueze has higher wage and doesn’t fit 3-5-2 at all… we sell Okafor instead… Also, Benny and Aldi are still here…

LW-ST profile like him and for those wages is rare… weird move, ngl…

Aside from ST are we gonna sign anyone else for defense and attack? don’t get where we are going with this

    1. I think we are looking to 433 with
      Leao/chuk – Gimenez / … – Pulisic / salad

Btw can somebody tell me what happened to alex jimenez?

      1. For now Allegri plays with 2 CF.
        Those were Pulisic and Leao.
So either that will use 1 CF, like Leao, or 2 with Gimenez and new CF.
Jimenez is back up for Saelemaekers right position for now.

    2. There is always Saelemaekers in the club.
But Allegri use now Leao as CF.
Obviously with Leao Gimenez they will bring another CF.

  2. Okey, we buy him for around 15m€ and sell him for 20-21m€, still make some money, but now if it will be like with Those, today must be some news about new striker, maybe one more winger and striker because we have only Leao, Pulisic and Gimenez… It seems like Alegri don’t prefer to play Chuk so hope we sell him until the end of mercato and buy someone . For me Berardi Is best possible choice and one of Hojlund or Vlahovic must come

    1. Berardi – Adli direct swap
Vlahovic at final days; Tare last interview made me a believer again
Magassa (CDM + CB) or even Lucumi

  3. would’ve prefered CHukweze out instead of Okafor, but that’s life. Offload Musa and Chukweze, and go for a solid Winger.
