Opta: Kalinic’s goal for Milan in 2017 still stands as impressive Serie A record – video

Arriving from Fiorentina for a total of €27.5m (via Transfermarkt.com), Nikola Kalinic ended up playing just one season for AC Milan. In 41 appearances, he scored just six goals for the Rossoneri.

However, although his performances didn’t leave a mark at the club, one of his goals did. In 2017, the Croatian finished off a lovely 43-pass sequence against Chievo, scoring the fourth goal of the game.

As reported by Opta, it’s the longest sequence that has ended with a goal and involved all 11 players in the last four Serie A seasons. In other words, Kalinic and Milan still hold an impressive league record.
