MN: Origi will aim to redeem himself at Milan following World Cup disappointment

AC Milan striker Divock Origi will be aiming to redeem himself after a poor start to the season when he returns following the World Cup break, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, the Belgian forward has not been able to provide what was hoped of him so far for the Rossoneri.

Origi joined on a free transfer from Liverpool but needed some time to recover from an injury. That took much longer than expected though and he hasn’t been able to give Olivier Giroud the rest bite that Stefano Pioli hoped he could.

He has got one goal in fourteen uninspiring games and that form means that he has not been called up to the Belgian squad for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

That is a major disappointment but it means that he can work on himself during the break and come back fitter for Milan and deliver on his promise.
