Pasalic: “I’m very happy, I hope to get involved more often now”

Today was the day that Mario Pasalic finally made his debut for Milan after his summer move from Chelsea.

Speaking to Milan TV after the game, the 21-year-old Croatian explained that; “I am very happy to have made my debut at the San Siro. It was really exciting after a long period without playing now I’m waiting for the next match and hope to be involved more regularly.”

He continued; “I’m getting stronger physically and now I’m raring to go”.

On the team’s performance today he stated that; “We have to keep taking three points and then let’s see where we arrive in the final standings.”

Finally, on his preferred position on the field he explained that; “Well, I can play everywhere but I’m mainly a number eight.”

Milan won the game courtesy of a Bonaventura free-kick shortly after half-time. The Rossoneri also had goalkeeper Donnarumma to thank for making some more match winning saves in the second-half.
