AC Milan are set to secure the signing of Mike Maignan in a deal that will far from break the bank, it has been confirmed.

According to what Pietro Balzano Prota is reporting on Twitter, Maignan will arrive for an initial fee of €13m plus €2m in potential bonuses. He adds that there is displeasure at the situation that has unfolded, but in the end Milan did everything that they could to try and convince Gianluigi Donnarumma to stay. Along with Gigio, his older brother Antonio Donnarumma will also say goodbye.

MilanNews are also reporting Maignan will be the new No.1 goalkeeper for the Rossoneri and the exact figure that the Frenchman will cost the Rossoneri is indeed €13m plus €2m in potential bonuses. 1. Milanisti will welcome Mike with open arms. He is a already a champion and he will, together with Milan, continue to grow in coming years.

  2. Let’s not forget that Plizzari is waiting in the wings and Maignan posted a shut-out against us and gave up a goal in the 2nd leg of Europa League. He had 21 shut-outs to lead all of Europe as well.

Great Milan teams of the past did not rely on great goal-keeping, they relied on the 10 players in front of them to get the job done. Invest that money into Tomori, Kessie, Bennacer, and a young striker to develop under Zlatan and you will start to rebuild this team to a great club…….not to be held hostage by a player/agent (who wanted €20M commission fee that is now having to settle for €12M because no one will pay it).

Get the frustration of letting him leave on a free, but that was a choice that he made and the club decided to move on.

    1. Well said mate… Donarumma is the cause of anything that happens to him. Players change agents if they really wants progress. They were both greedy.

  3. I used to like him a lot cos, I always think he’s a diehard MILANISTA but he has lost all my respect for acting like a snake 🐍.
He decided to become greedy together with his agent. He betrayed the club and the people that stood by him as a kid……. At 22 years and with the current economical situations around the world, demanding for a huge sum of 12m is just ridiculous.
SHAME ON YOU DOLLARUMA aka DRAMARUMA.
I hope FATTY PIGIOLA leads you to hell.
