Gianluigi Donnarumma has reportedly told those close to him what he plans to do regarding his future, a journalist has claimed.
There is now just over two months left on Donnarumma’s contract and with no sign of an imminent signature or an agreement over a new deal, supporters are beginning to panic and the media has been able to whip up a frenzy akin to the soap opera back in 2017.
According to what is being reported by journalist and Milan insider Pietro Balzano Prota on Twitter, Donnarumma has told his team-mates and friends ‘many times’ that he wants to stay at Milan, adding that ‘this is a fact’.
Of course, it will be necessarily to turn such words into gestures and accept the offer that has been put forward so the speculation can all be put to bed and Milan can go about trying to secure a top four place.
Well, if he wants to stay, then put the signature on the contract. It’s that simple.
