Just get Pavlidis (CF), Prati (DM), and Pedersen (RB). All shouldnt be so expensive, and they have good potential.
Apart from this we need to add 1 more wordclass CB to replace Kjaer.
What happened to Miranda at LB, for nothing he is free. Hummels is free. Then they can spend 50 million on a striker and a midfielder if they want. Kalulu can cover RB, Florenzi as well. It would be dumb to pay transfer fees in that position. Hummels can plug the gap Kjaer left with more of a winning pedigree. These are no brainer moves..
Another CB is definitely not a requirement, especially if those funds are needed for a quality CF. If we can’t get Bongiourno, spending ~€20m for someone to compete with Gabbia/Thiaw/Kalulu for the 2nd CB spot is pointless. Better to invest that in a quality CF.
We could also try to do what Juventus and Inter seem to do constantly: loan with obligation to buy or spreading the cost over two or three years. We never seem to do this.
