Pedulla: Milan raise contract offer to Szoboszlai – the aim is to please Ralf Rangnick

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have improved the contract offer that they have made to Red Bull Salzburg playmaker Dominik Szoboszlai, a report claims.

It is no secret that Szoboszlai is one of Milan’s major targets ahead of the upcoming transfer window and the probable arrival of Ralf Rangnick as the club’s new manager, a man who knows the player well from his time with Red Bull.

According to the latest from AlfredoPedulla.com, there has been direct contact regarding the move during which Milan discovered that he can leave Salzburg in the upcoming transfer window.

However, there is a release clause to be paid (about €25million) and an agreement on the salary to be found. Milan are willing to raise the offer up to €1.8-2million per season plus bonuses, with the intention of satisfying Rangnick by giving him the playmaker he wants to badly.

Meanwhile, Turkish outlet Tribun Dergi – a Twitter account with over 1.2million followers – are claiming that Milan have reached an agreement over the signing of Szoboszlai.
