Pellegatti: Chelsea defender’s signing with Milan is imminent – announcement expected soon

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will complete the permanent signing of centre-back Fikayo Tomori in the coming days having agreed a deal with Chelsea, a report claims.

Tomori joined Milan on an initial six-month loan spell with an option to buy included as part of the deal, and given his sensational performances since arriving it has led to strong speculation he will be bought outright, something that now seems to be a formality.

According to Carlo Pellegatti’s latest for Calciomercato.com, three loanees that Milan had last season could stay for the 2021-22 campaign and Tomori is one of them while the others are Brahim Diaz and Diogo Dalot.

The Englishman’s permanent signing will be announced in the coming days as he is currently on a post-season break, even if it seemed it would arrive early this week. Tomori will wear the Rossoneri shirt next season without doubts and without surprises, according to the journalist.
