Pellegatti confirms Milan want two reinforcements for the attack this summer – the positions

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are targeting two reinforcements for the attack this summer, according to well-known journalist Carlo Pellegatti.

Sky Italia (via MilanNews) reported that if Rafael Leao shows that he can be a valid alternative to Ibrahimovic as a first striker, Milan might not even look for a new reinforcement in attack during the summer transfer window.

However, if the Portuguese does not convince the Milan management, then they will return to the market and among the names being considered is Gianluca Scamacca. Meanwhile, a number of different sources have claimed that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are after a new winger for the right flank, with Samu Castillejo possibly to make way.

Pellegatti spoke on his Youtube channel and gave an update on the management’s plans for the summer window, going against what is being reported by Sky Italia and others.

“It appears to me that Milan want a centre-forward regardless of Leao’s performance in this season finale. We also aim for a reinforcement on the right wing, clearly if there will be no departures. These are the roles to fill, the priorities,” he said (via MilanLive).
