Pellegatti: Milan want Belotti and could land him for €60m less than previous price

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are serious about landing Andrea Belotti and could get him for a cut-price fee, according to Carlo Pellegatti.

In the summer of 2017, Milan tried to buy Andrea Belotti from Torino but after several attempts they were unable to lower the demands of their president Urbano Cairo and ‘il Gallo’ has remained with the Granata ever since.

Four years on and the rumour has resurfaced as the striker has a contract expiring in 2022 and Milan are on the lookout for long-term centre-forward options, with Belotti’s renewal – at the current moment – more uncertain than ever.

Regarding the possibility of the Italy international moving to his boyhood club Milan, Carlo Pellegatti – a well-known Milan fan and journalist – had his say, revealing an important piece of information on his YouTube channel.

“One year from the deadline, Torino cannot ask for €80-100 million like in the past. It takes €20-30million, no more,” he said (via PM).

“An authoritative colleague, close to Torino, confirmed [this rumour] to me. We were in the cold of the San Siro watching Milan v Torino and he told me ‘Milan want Belotti, I think he will be a Rossoneri player’.”
