Pellegatti: Suggestions emerge that PSG striker could be a ‘late opportunity’ for Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

The well-known journalist Carlo Pellegatti has told AC Milan fans to watch out for the possibility of Mauro Icardi becoming a late-market opportunity.

Pellegatti spoke on his YouTube channel (via MilanLive) and discussed what should happen with Milan’s centre-forward department, confirming that Olivier Giroud will arrive from Chelsea tomorrow to add experience and a great sense for goal to what is an otherwise young attack.

He adds that the Frenchman is ‘honoured’ to join the club which is an excellent start to his Milan career, while left-back Ballo-Touré of Monaco and Brahim Diaz of Rea Madrid are also both set to arrive in the coming days too.

Meanwhile, he claims to have ‘received a little voice yesterday’ with regards to Mauro Icardi and a possible return to Milano but with the red half of the city, adding that the ‘last few days could be an opportunity’ for the Rossoneri. His cost and salary are prohibitive at the moment, but it could become something more.
