Club Brugge have decided to restrict comments on their social media pages due to a flood of comments from AC Milan fans, upset with the high demands set in the Ardon Jashari negotiations.
Milan tabled an improved offer for the midfielder last night, and while no official response has arrived, it’s believed that it won’t be accepted. Instead, Club Brugge have contacted Premier League clubs in an attempt to get more money from their star.

Of course, the decision to try to spark an auction hasn’t gone down well with Milan, nor with the fans. On social media, Club Brugge have been flooded with comments from Rossoneri fans, with some stating #FreeJashari. As a result, the Belgian side have restricted the comments (see photo below).
It remains to be seen if a compromise can be found in the end, but reports are suggesting that Milan won’t give up now. They will continue to push for Jashari’s arrival, relying on the player’s will, in the hope that that will be enough.

Who says any club has to compromise on their valuation of a player or compromise? Did Atalanta sell Hojlund for 80M? How? They stuck to their asking price. Ekitike to Liverpool? Same thing, Eintracht rejected offers until it was what they asked.
At the end of the day the clubs you are mentioning sold the players to the club he wish to go to. People are not objects but humans. You got to respect the wish of the players to you know. While Club Brugge is isolating the player, essentially having burned the bridge between them and the player/his agent (i.e. there is no going back to reconcile at this point), calling up EPL clubs to start an auction who are not even sure about the player’s commitment, bringing the team’s atmosphere to a boiling point, tainting their image in the eyes of the other players and their agents at the club, tiring their fans toying with their emotions, damaging the player’s fitness, form, and value, harming the team’s potential performance-wise. Happens every day to all the clubs really. It’s rare that clubs offer what the other one is asking. It’s called negotiating. Most players are being sold for less than the asking price is.
How do you know what the offer needs to be to get the deal done? How do you know they aren’t leading Tare on, telling him what it’ll take to get the deal done and then raising the price again?

35M is not cheap. I usually hear that Milan can’t pay more than 20M for a player, but when they go above with De Ketelere, Gimenez, and now Ardon Jashari you say they don’t want to spend money. It’s Club Brugges right to hold on to their asking price, but it’s also a right for Milan to estimate how much they willing to offer. That’s called negociation.

We did it a few seasons ago with De Ketalare, and they were mad. Turned the player against his club. And here we are again, using the same tactics. That’s a stupid move on our part. Ok, dont get me wrong as I would never feel sorry for anyone earning that much but the player seems fixed on the idea of joining us as he has been a fan since he was a kid. When that is said signing a new contract half a year ago means he has roughly capitalized 500k on that so hardly a huge investment unless they also dropped a big sign on fee on him in the process.

I agree its a good sign from the club but also a way to protect themselves but yeah part of this debacle is probably also down to their irritation towards the player to be outspoken early on in the negotiations. If I was a professional player I could name numerous countries no money would be able to persuade me to play in or id rather entirely quit playing football as I wouldn’t want to live there or for that matter support said regimes.
In this case I believe we have made a reasonable offer but in the end its not us who decides the outcome. In the future I would strongly suggest we avoid dealing with them and make it clear for all prospects around.

We turned this player against his club, then sought to benefit from that by offering a fee far less than they had set.
Deals at this level work on relationships. Burn the relationship and the ability to do future deals gets much harder. (CDK -> Jashari being an example of exactly that)

Because ACM offer 33,5m euro fixed fee + 1,5m euro easy add on total 35m euro and 3,5m euro very hard add on while brugge want 40m euro. No matter how this saga ends, we will later know what the actual fees that were involved on both parties. Bruges can demand what they want, Milan can offer what they think is fair value., Agents know what offer would move the needle so I doubt if it was just a blank 40M and that’s it unless this saga would have been long concluded and the media will keep speculating as much as they want because it drives traffic and we will keep feeding into their narrative because we need our fix!!

Brugge will be left biting their hands, an unhappy player might not perform as well as he did earlier. Forget 40 million, they might get even 20 for that player. Playing against his wishes might even being casual attitude and hence injuries. Sufferring for the player though because if his performance drops in the upcoming season then even Milan won’t go back for him next season. Unless ofcourse there is a tacit agreement between us and the player which again is a dangerous road to choose for the player because in the end Milan management is unreliable. They might not go back for the player and it’s unethical too.
