Photo: Fans protest outside Casa Milan after Maldini is officially sacked

By Oliver Fisher -

Fans have begun to arrive outside the club’s Casa Milan headquarters to protest over the sacking of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.

Through a statement on their official website Milan announced Maldini’s departure and one is expected to follow for Massara too, leaving the Milan world in shock given we are less than 48 hours on from the end of the 2022-23 season.

There has been a real mix of opinion on social media but it would be fair to say anger is in the majority, and some fans have even shown up outside the headquarters to make their feelings known.

  1. It begins. Good thing Milan is going to hire Poli from this site to be director. Can’t wait to see all the sales he makes for more than players are worth, and all the players he brings in because he’s so well respected in the European football world.

    1. Poli and Cardinale will not use money to lure players to Milan, they will use their charm 🤣😂😃😅😮😓😵😨😱

      1. Wisdumb.
That’s clever. Did you think of that on your own sir, or you had help?
        My wisdumb came to fruition.
All the “dumb” stuff I was saying are happening.
All you can do now is be salty.

        1. Well all the stuff you say is happening because you and cardinale are Americans and neither of you have no idea about footbal and what Maldini represent not just to Milan but the whole footbal world

  2. Some people here that knows better wants Maldini to be sacked, he has peacefully left the club for them, I hope you are happy about it and knows better that those fans at casa Milan.

  3. Apparently these fans don’t want to win trophies… Maldini should have been fired when he let Kessie go. Bringing in CDK should have never happened. Those two mistakes set Milan back years.

I’m proud of this team but it’s not good enough anymore. It’s time to win actual trophies.

    1. Lol. Let kessie go? Kessie lied to the fan base and the directors and his agent brought him to Barca because they were offering a bigger commission. CDK we don’t know anything about yet. Leao and Tonali both stunk their first year in Milan.

      1. Remember the year before he left??? In case you are one of those with short memory or limited comprehension. He was the one that kept us alive, him and turkish kebab. Maldini and co knew what game they were playing, but how can you sell them when you rely so much on them. With cash in hand 0 to buy a replacement, they had to stick with them until they left. Yes, one can argue that he should have been sold 2 years before he left, but how do u build a core squad if main players keep leaving? Now we are padt that stage. Our core players are here, or were before maldini got mistreated. #redbirdout.

    2. Your last line is hilarious. It’s time to win actually trophies? Hahaha. We literally won the scudetto 1 year ago and we’re 1 step away from a CL final. Despite my issues with this team and some signings the facts are the facts buddy.

    3. If you want trophies you’re gonna wait a looong time now buddy. Redbird has no intention of winning any trophies. They intend to fill their pockets, and selling players at their best is one of the ways to make that happen.

  4. A sad day for this club and for football in general. You treat LEGENDS like trash. This only happens when you have enemies of football buying top clubs like Milan. Shame on Redbird and Cardinale, these people know little about football and it’s obvious.

  5. From a sporting view this is a bad move and a shot on the foot by Cardinale. There is no rationale in removing the two people who took a mediocre performing team to a Serie A title and then a Champions League semi final the following year. This is not a performance issue but a personal one. It is clear Cardinale was not happy with how outspoken Maldini has been with his criticisms towards the owners.

    1. 100%. Cardinale has inferiority complex and doesn’t like people who actually have pride talking back to him, just like a sensitive little baby and an excuse for a man.. what a loser. Guy is the classic billionaire overcompensating loser. #CardinaleOUT

    2. With almost minimum wage salaries, might add. We won the scudetto with the 4th or so ranked salary in seria a. Everyone outside of milan, praised milan for what we achieved with that limited cash. How in the world is that not a success.

      1. It’s a personal issue between Cardinale and Maldini that let to this decision. There is a big probability it will backfire on him. For starters it has already affected some of the players morales because it creates instability for the future of the club.

    1. Belescuni and Maldini aren’t on good terms.
Why do you Maldini was not involved in football so long after retirement.

      1. Wrong actually. There is no bad blood between Berlu and Maldini. Berlu interferes in every decision, from formation, tactics to sales and recruitement. Maldini wants full control.

    2. paolo wont join them but quite frankly i will not be that surprised if daniel maldini now leaves the club and monza would do themselves good aquiring him,

    3. Maldini only enter management because Milan asked him, if it wasn’t Milan, he won’t consider it. He was enjoying retirement before, he will enjoy retirement again this time. He never need the job, he doesn’t need the money, he did it out of passion for Milan.

  6. Hi dico solo una cosa. Amo il Milan da quando ero bambino. Prima e dopo berlusconi etc.

  7. Maldini deserve to be sack, Dybala and CDK which player would you buy? He wasted 35million on that guy, why not pay Dybala 5millon a year for 7years. Please bring somebody that will think before spending money

  8. Good night maldini, we were supposed to be Champion of Italy again just add Dybala to this team this past season. You messed up

  9. Dumb ppl keeps complaining about cdk… do you know how many flops psg have? Madrid? Barcelona? Don’t lemme even call that blue London club…
    The point is you can’t score a 100 in transfers… you can’t
