AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez is continuing his return from an ankle injury amid reports he could return straight after the international break.
The French full-back has been out of action since picking up a knock in preseason against Bayern Munich, following his arrival in a €20m deal from Real Madrid in July.
The signs from his brief preseason action were very promising, thus making his return eagerly anticipated amongst the Milan fan base.
Hernandez is expected to be back for the game against Hellas Verona on September 15, and will have an advantage in fitness over his competitor Ricardo Rodriguez, who is away for the fortnight on international duty with Switzerland.
