Gianluigi Donnarumma has taken his helping hands away from the field in order to participate in the clean-up efforts following the floods in Venice.
Parts of the city were devastated earlier in the week as flooding decimated some of the most historic landmarks, and now the salvation mission has begun.
Italy continued their winning streak in the Euro qualifiers last night with a 3-0 win against Bosnia, and Donnarumma made a couple of stunning saves to protect the clean sheet.
Now he is doing a different type of cleaning, and he posted a picture on his Instagram profile with the caption: “We are close to the city of Venice. A big hug to all.”
