It has been a difficult period for the Rossoneri technical director as he and his son Daniel – who plays as a forward for Milan and Milan Primavera – contracted Coronavirus.
As MilanLive notes, the former Milan captain explained the severity of his symptoms: “I tried to exercise but stopped after ten minutes. An athlete knows his body, I understood that something was wrong.”
Fortunately, both he and Daniel are perfectly healed, and his wife took to Instagram to show a picture of her, Paolo and Daniel’s older brother Christian cycling through Milano with the caption: “We only had one ride.”
