Photo: Devis Vasquez lands in Italy ahead of completing move to Milan

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have secured the arrival of Devis Vasquez and the goalkeeper landed in Italy earlier this evening. The medical tests are scheduled for tomorrow, with just the announcement then missing.

The news broke this morning and, frankly, came out of nowhere as many believed Milan would rely on Mirante and Tatarusanu until the return of Maignan. That could still be the case, but the Rossoneri have at least made a move on the market.

Vasquez, who plays for the Paraguayan club Guarani, has landed in Italy as captured by Gianluca Di Marzio. Medicals will take place tomorrow and he will then sign the deal, provided he passes the former.

  1. i just don’t get it , are Jungdal and Nava really that bad that they can’t even get a chance but we can bring totally no-namer from paraguay … they didn’t get a chance even in friendlies

  2. That management is a joke
Bennacer and Leao will never renew and these clows wont sell them either
The most pathetic champions in recent history will be us
Pay them peanuts fight for conference league next season

  3. Why waste a non EU spot on a keeper? This HAS to be a panic buy on the cheap.

Who exactly is making decisions over there right now?

  4. Milan has already signed sportiello from next season according to reports and with at least one of tatarusano or mirante leaving it will open up a spot.
Jungdahl propably will also be getting loaned out for the necessity of his further developement so i see no reason to be too worried as vasquez most likely will end up as a third choice gk with us but one that come cheap, has a small salary but with potential to develope or get sold with aj profit. Either way no big loss even if he do fail with us as the player wont be expenssive.
No need for drama here if our scouts believe that this deal makes sense, why not.

  5. When will ac milan take the next step of his “so call” project.
Even after they won the scudetto, they are still doing their market as a third division team.
Low cost, low quality and unknown players!!! Really!!!

    Shameful

  6. Perfect opportunity to sign a young Italian or an older but solid one for squad numbers etc yet we go foreign again and not even for quality just for some cheap random. What a disgrace.
