AC Milan have completed their third acquisition of the winter as Asmir Begovic has joined on a six-month loan deal from Bournemouth.
The Bosnia international spent the first half of the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Qarabag in Azerbaijan, but he has now moved to the San Siro to replace Pepe Reina as Gianluigi Donnarumma’s deputy.
Begovic made 62 appearances for the Cherries in the Premier League since his arrival from Chelsea back in 2017, and could make his Milan debut against SPAL in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday night given Donnarumma’s thigh injury.
