Photos: Milan players react to Juventus loss on social media – ‘We lost a battle, not the war!’

By Oliver Fisher -

With a combination of selection problems and general fatigue, it just wasn’t Milan’s night at San Siro as they lost 3-1 to Juventus.

The Rossoneri saw their unbeaten run in Serie A ended at 27 games by the champions as Federico Chiesa’s brace and Weston McKennie’s goal off the bench saw Juve run out 3-1 winners at San Siro, rendering Davide Calabria’s fantastic equaliser a mere flash in the pan on a difficult night for a team decimated by suspension problems.

Below are the reactions of the players on social media…

Calabria: “Sorry because the goal did not serve to bring home important points, but the bitterness for this defeat must give us the charge to start immediately at the maximum.”

Theo: “After 27 games, it’s time to get up and keep working to keep giving joy to our love.”
