Pioli: “All matches are complicated and at this point of the season they are all very important”

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has called the team he named to face Udinese his ‘best line-up’ available, and insisted the San Siro crowd will back Franck Kessie.

Pioli spoke to DAZN’s microphones before the game against Udinese at San Siro.

“We have always reasoned trying to put the best line-up, because all the matches are complicated and at this point of the season they are all very important. We reason from game to game. Today’s opponent will be difficult, we need an important performance,” he said (via MilanLive).

“There are many games missing, other incidents will happen in which the teams in front will not win. This is the season, you face high level and highly motivated opponents. The second round is increasingly difficult. Now let’s focus on this match. The other results do not depend on us.”

On the reaction that the San Siro crowd will have towards Franck Kessie after recent jeers: “Our fans have always shown that they are fantastic and support us. Everyone? Certainly.”
