AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli is set to hold off on making a decision on Brahim Diaz’s fitness until after the training session on Tuesday morning, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Milan coach would love to have Diaz fit for the trip to London to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League, and that is why he will wait till the last moment to see if he can recover.
The Spaniard missed the Fiorentina game with an injury and that same injury could stop him from playing in the Champions League round of 16 second leg. He scored the only goal of the first leg.
The team will be training at Milanello on Tuesday morning and that is where the decision will be taken. After that lesson, the team will leave for London. Were it a home game, there may be more time to offer Diaz.
