Pioli highlights what he expects from Origi and De Ketelaere against Cremonese

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has insisted that his side will have to be back at their best against a ‘lively, dynamic’ Cremonese side.

Pioli spoke to DAZN just before the game to preview the match, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.

What match must Milan play? “We have to play well because we face a lively, dynamic team that feels good on the pitch and is intense. We have to play a good game from a technical, tactical and energy point of view.”

On Origi: “It’s normal for a striker to want to score, he has to look for it. He must try to fill the area, he must try to be fast and unpredictable to give our attackers more chances to be dangerous.”

On De Ketelaere: “I expect a lot from the team tonight, in recent days I’ve seen some good things in training, a good attitude and some good plays. I expect as much as it should be because we are Milan and we have to win this match.”

  1. We are at half-time and it’s time for subs:
    Off: CDK in: Theo Hernandez
Off: Aster V in: Sandro Tonali
    Origi
    Hernandez-Diaz-Alexis S
    Tonali-Bennacer
    Ballo T-Thiaw-Kalulu-Calabria
    Maignan

I would then consider Giroud for Origi and Leao for Ballo T around 60mins.

  2. The definition of insanity. Pioli must be fired in the summer if we want to be competitive next season. We are missing out on the top 4 already.

  3. Shame on you,you do what insane People always do by repeating the same thing that caused us Failure by Expecting Different Result thay is Lining up Origi and CDK.
Sorry to see my Beloved team without Monitoring and Evaluation or M&E Team.
    Where is the Owners?
Refusing to sign J Alvers with 18m and sigbing Origi with 16m.
