MN: Pioli pondering five potential changes to line-up for game against Torino

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan do not have much time to celebrate their win over Dinamo Zagreb as attention will now turn to preparations for the game against Torino.

According to MilanNews, Stefano Pioli is already evaluating some line-up changes compared to Tuesday’s match in Croatia, starting with Fikayo Tomori who was absent due to being suspended. The Englishman should replace Matteo Gabbia in the centre of the defence, with Simon Kjaer keeping his spot.

In the middle of the Tommaso Pobega could get the nod to start at a ground he knows very well given he was on loan at Torino last season, so one of Sandro Tonali or Ismael Bennacer could well be rested.

There could be two changes in attack too, with Junior Messias expected to come in for Ante Rebic, and Brahim Diaz for Charles De Ketelaere in the playmaker role. Finally, the Origi-Giroud battle for the striker role goes on.

  1. They must make those 4 changes to give other players rest and if we score they must also give chance to adli, vrancx and thiaw so they improve their game

  2. Any of you watched Torino recently? I have and they attack is useless. Could field ballo toure, gabbia, thiaw, dest and not concede

    1. Against Milan some teams are more gassed usually and play better against them we cannot risk it but we have to try new players like thiaw and vranckx
