Tuttosport: Pioli chooses physicality in attack as Brahim Diaz heads to the bench again

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli seems to have finally settled on the team he will use for tonight’s game against Genoa at San Siro, a report claims.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Milan boss is well aware that after consecutive 0-0 draws, goals are an absolutely necessity and that is why there will be a change in the attack, with Franck Kessie to be the playmaker behind Olivier Giroud.

Brahim Diaz appeared out of shape and not very incisive in the 0-0 draw against Torino, while the paper recalls that Kessie was supposed to be the starter last Sunday too, but Ismael Bennacer’s muscle discomfort complicated things at the last second.

Milan must win at all costs and they need some physicality in the middle of the field, because the match promises to be very intense and Genoa are expected to come and make things difficult given their impressive defensive record under Blessin.
