Pioli’s team are first for recovered balls in the opposing half of the field, first for average height of the recovered balls (how high up the pitch it was won back) and first for shots taken after regaining possession.
Not only that, but Milan are first in goals on the counter-attack and second in average height of the centre of gravity (how high up the team are on average). All stats are valid for the league in 2022-23 so far.

I agree. We should replace Pioli! I hate winning, especially trophies. They just get in the way of underachieving. Besides all these things do is full up the trophy cabinet and then what? Exactly! we have to go buy another trophy cabinet. Waste of time if u ask me.. Let’s go back to the old days like when Giampaolo was coach. Those were some good days

Probably replace him with a more tactically flexible coach that can work with the players. I believe Milan has what it takes to play clubs like Chelsea.

This data explain why we can not beat Chelsea. Chelsea defend deep & counter attack by exploiting wide.
So in attacking-phase, we are outnumbered because they defend deep & leave so little spaces to exploit by Leao & Theo.
In defensive-phase, the full-back often go higher leave Chelsea has many spaces at wide area.
First match Chelsea beat Milan only because Dest, Tomori, and Balo Toure blunders.
Second match: Chelsea beat Milan only because the garbage referee messed up with red card + pinalti at 20th minutes.
Outside that, Chelsea didn’t play a beautiful/special football.
