AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has said that his contract renewal which is expected shortly will not be a problem in terms of negotiations.
Speaking during his press conference earlier today ahead of the Serie A clash against Torino which is on Sunday night, the coach was asked about his future with the Rossoneri.
It is widely expected that the coach will be signing a new deal soon and there won’t be any sudden change of plan that could lead to him departing the club.
He confirmed this with a slightly convoluted answer during the press conference when asked about his future.
“As in marriages there’s only the renewal of promises, then I don’t know if it will be in a month or two, it won’t be a problem. We know each other better and better and we have many challenges to face together,” Pioli said.
The coach certainly does not seem to be in a major rush to pen new terms, but only because the situation is calm rather than him looking to keep his options open.
A win against Torino on Sunday would mean that Milan have won five on the bounce in Serie A.
