AC Milan must immediately forget about yesterday’s defeat against Torino and focus on the decisive Champions League match on Wednesday against Red Bull Salzburg.
In view of the match against Salzburg, Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) report that Stefano Pioli will make some changes to his line-up. Starting in defence, Simon Kjaer will take the place of Matteo Gabbia and partner up with Fikayo Tomori.

In the midfield, Ismael Bennacer will be reunited with Sandro Tonali again after the Algerian started the game against Torino from the bench. Changes are also expected in attack where Olivier Giroud is the favoured to start from the first minute in place of Divock Origi.
What must be determined though is whether Pioli will stick with the 4-2-3-1 with one of either Brahim Diaz or Charles De Ketelaere as the attacking midfielder, or whether to insert a more physical player behind the striker like Rade Krunic.
In the second case, the coach could move the Spaniard or the Belgian to the right wing, as already happened for example against Juventus. Regardless of the players who take the field, a different performance will be needed to tick off the first seasonal objective.

Are you dumb? Experimenting actually makes Pioli a good coach. He knows his current system have flaws and can be improved.
If you don’t want a coach who doesn’t like experimenting then go watch Allegri Juve.

The fact of the matter is that to many changes were made in the starting line up this unsettled the team .
Perhaps with view to the game against Salzburg on Wednesday..yes sometimes changes are needed ,but not so many to the starting line up ..Origi up front was a bad call ,as I do not believe he is a good centre forward ,much better the experience of Olivier Giroud
who’s technical ability inside the 18 yard area is awsome and he certainly knows how to pull defenders out of position,which of course allows others into the game .Yes Rafael Leao had a bad game and should have definitely scored .Just tell me who had a good game ,defensively we were awful ,again do to too many changes made to the starting line up .
Yes of course changes need to be made ,but this could been done after we were winning ,which I believe would have been the case using the winning line ups …Rebec who came on was awful ,ball control non existent…
Never mind Rafael leao has been superb for us this season and of course need his amazing skills to unlock defences which he has been doing so well .
It will be a different match on Wednesday and we will be back to our best and win this match ..Rafael will be back and so will Olivier Giroud..
We have a great manager in pioli …just thought he picked the wrong starting line up .We are also a great team ,the best is yet to come ..optimistic why not .
I was when we signed Olivier Giroud and we went on to win the scuddeto,against all the odds .let’s surprise a few teams in the champions leauge ,and not just reach the last sixteen ,,,we must aim higher than that .

Where are those fans that said Gabbia should replace Kjær and Milan management know nothing. U guys said it like Kjær is noob and never played football like it was harsh. U guys need to watch games properly
I said already once and I’ll say it again. If it was Kjaer on the pitch instead of Gabbia, Torino wouldn’t had scored either of the goals. It’s that simple.
Fans complain about not rotating enough when people get injured and complain when we rotate too much when we have a sloppy performance. If we win this match against Salzburg all is forgiven in this match because it’s a long season and you can’t play the same 11 the whole time. Take a few deep breaths and enjoy the season rather than trying to nitpick every decision along the way.
