AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli has shared his thoughts about how Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Luka Romero are settling in at the club.
Speaking during his press conference on the first day of pre-season (via Milan News), the coach was understandably asked about two of the new signings that were getting a chance to impress at Milanello.
He explained that they have both been very motivated early on and he can see how much they want to help the team win when the new season gets underway.
“Loftus-Cheek and Romero are very motivated, they want to give a lot to this team. One of the best characteristics we can look for, apart from technical quality, is motivation,” Pioli said.
They are the two outfield players that have joined the club so far this summer, but Christian Pulisic is expected to be next through the door. The club will hope that the American winger is followed by Tijjani Reijnders for the midfield, as well as a new striker.
Many strikers are being linked and it seems that position could be one of the last to be solved.
