Sky: Pioli uses Panchina d’Oro award at Milanello for motivational speech

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli took his recently awarded Panchina d’Oro to training at Milanello on Tuesday to use as part of a motivational speech, a report claims.

As has been reported by Sky Sport’s Manuel Baiocchini (via Milan News), the Panchina d’Oro that was handed to Pioli at Coverciano on Monday made the trip to work with him on Tuesday morning.

He did this to reiterate to the players and his whole coaching staff how their hard work led to him winning the award, rather than it just being down to his own qualities as a coach.

Frederic Massara and Paolo Maldini were also present for this part of the training session. The award labels Pioli as the best coach in Serie A for his work last season in which Milan won the Scudetto.

Milan are preparing for their next match which is against Atalanta at the weekend in Serie A.
